Hooky Singers

Hooky Singers logo

Who we are.

Hooky Singers is Hook Norton’s very own community choir. We are open and accessible to anyone over the age of 16, irrespective of musical knowledge or experience and there are no auditions!

Set up by locals, our aim is to promote community cohesion, friendship and the well-being of participants through the enjoyment of singing in a friendly, fun and supportive setting. Our first rehearsal in January 2019 kicked off with 75 singers, and the low 70’s remains around our average weekly attendance. Everyone is free to attend when they can.

What we sing.

Anything and everything, from old folk ballads to pop. Whatever we sing, the key to our enjoyment and success is balancing creating good music with lots of laughter!

When and where we meet.

We rehearse on a Wednesday evening at 7.30pm in the Hook Norton Primary School Hall, Sibford Road. Do come along for a sing – the first session is free. (Current fees are £36 per twelve week term or £4 per week if not paid termly.)
