Minutes of the Annual Parish Meeting held on
Thursday 11 May 2017 in the Memorial Hall, Hook Norton at 7.30pm
Present: Councillors: Kane, Hicks, Griggs, Brotherston, Matthews, Watkins, McCall-McCowan, Duggan, Henderson, Mrs Watts (Parish Clerk) and seven members of the public
Apologies for Absence – County Cllr Reynolds and District Cllr Brown
Chairman’s Announcements – Councillor Kane welcomed everyone to the meeting.
Minutes of Previous Meeting held on 14 April 2016
Cllr Kane proposed that the minutes of the meeting on 14 April 2016 be accepted as a true and accurate record. This was seconded by Cllr Hicks, unanimously RESOLVED as a true record of the meeting and signed by the Chairman.

There are some issues of damp being evident in the kitchen. These are being investigated. Audited annual accounts for 2016 -2017 were presented – Annex 2
Report by the Chairman of the Heath Allotment Trust (HAT) – Pauline Walters
Pauline Walters presented her report – Annex 3. Annual accounts for 2016-2017 were also presented – Annex 4. A couple of minor issues with these were discussed. The value of the landed rented out to tenants was discussed. Cllr Brotherston explained that rent for the land is tied in to tenancy agreements and rent cannot be increased to any great extent.

County Councillor Reynolds had not submitted a report.
Report by the District Council Representative – District Cllr Brown
District Cllr Brown had submitted a report – Annex 5.
Questions from the Public – there were none.
Annual Parish Meeting 2018 – next year’s Annual Parish Meeting will take place on 10 May 2018 at 7.30pm.
There being no further business the Chairman thanked everyone for attending and closed the public meeting at 7.43pm
